FAQs
๐ ย Are you a doctor? No, I am a board-certified nurse practitioner and am licensed to provide medical care independently of a doctor. I diagnose, treat,ย prescribe medications, and manage treatment cycles.
๐ Do you take insurance? No, I do not take insurance for my services. I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance for out of network benefits or for reimbursement from your HSA/FSA.ย Your blood tests may be billed to your insurance if you choose.
๐ Why don't you take insurance? My goal is to save you money. My fees are set much lower than what insurance-accepting clinics would charge for the same services. I do this so you hopefully pay less out of pocket - whether you don't have fertility benefits, have a high deductible plan and have to pay for all services up to that high limit, or have to pay a portion of the charges after your insurance makes their determination.
๐ Do I have to have been trying to get pregnant for a certain amount of time before I can have fertility work-up with you? No, you can have fertility work-up performed wherever you are in your family-building journey - even if you are just curious for the future.
๐ ย Do you prescribe fertility medications? Yes, however I do not perform IUIs in my clinic.
๐ Do you provide IVF (in vitro fertilization) services at your clinic?ย No, Conceivable Fertility and Wellness is not an IVF clinic. I can provide educational and medication/injection support throughout your IVF journey if you would like.
๐ ย How do I know if this clinic is right for me? Please click the orange bar on my website for a free 10 minute consultation to see if this is a good fit!
๐ Do you provide telehealth services? Yes! Any consultation can be provided in clinic or by telehealth from your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
๐ Why do you donate 5% your fees to charities? I strongly believe in giving back, paying-it-forward, and helping others. So many things in life take a village. Together we can be a better village.
๐ Do your patients have to live in the Twin Cities? No, I am licensed in Minnesota, Colorado, and Illinois and can see/treat/coordinate care for patients in any of these states via telehealth.ย
๐ ย Can I come see you for a service not listed? Yes! Please call to ask and if not, I will guide you to someone who can.
