Education

I believe patients are empowered when they have knowledge about their fertility, the conditions that might impact their fertility, and how those conditions can be diagnosed and treated. Web searches for fertility information can return thousands of web links and it can be difficult to determine which sources can be trusted with quality, helpful information.  In my experience, one of the most reliable, fact-based sources of information about fertility is found through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.  ASRM has created a Reproductive Facts website for the general public, featuring hundreds of fact sheets, podcasts, videos, and other helpful resources. Below are a handful of links to some of their factsheets and resources  addressing some of my most frequently asked questions. I also have linked to some helpful resources from Resolve, the National Infertility Association.

Podcast Episode

I was a guest on the podcast "Spinal Tap," hosted by the ciropractors of Midwest Chiropractic and Wellness. Listen (or watch) as I explain how I began my career path in fertility, discuss common infertility issues, myths around conceiving, and much more. I share office space with these two, and we had some fun with innuendos and jokes -  all while promoting and understanding the importance of these conversations with those curious about their fertility or experiencing fertility struggles.
